Job description

 The Residential department within the well established Cobham office are looking for an experienced Sales Negotiator to join the team. This position will enhance the existing team to offer an inclusive service to buyers and sellers within Cobham and the surrounding areas. Working alongside the network of our Clients other offices and departments to ensure that the customer is always getting the best service possible, a large proportion of this role will be to network within the company whilst building a steady association outside of the business. The relevant individual will balance both Sales and Pitching responsibilities with the primary aim of driving core market business.

 

 Primary Objectives

  • Have a strategic awareness of our Clients wider business to understand the benefits of a multi- disciplined organisation and to cross sell services
  • Liaise with customers in a professional, polite and respectful manner
  • Carry out viewings with prospective purchasers and manage clients across all price ranges
  • Confident and proficient in dealing with applicants and sellers
  • Manage sales to exchange and completion of contracts through influencing,
  • persuading and negotiating whilst giving best advice to customers at all times in a professional and enthusiastic manner
  • Carry out pitches, producing reports and prospecting
  • Seek to build the sales business by using and developing contacts and creating new opportunities
  • Handle daily applicant enquiries from our Clients database system, ensuring that accurate details are registered and actioned
  • Maintain records on a daily basis, chasing applicants and archiving where necessary
  • To be able to manage own diary in an efficient manner and with regard to other team members
  • Keep up to date with trends in the local residential property market
  • Good knowledge of surrounding areas
  • Continually examining performance and evolving accordingly
  • Follow health and safety procedures

Other abilities

  • Proven track record in exceeding targets and winning business with 3+ years experience within the property industry.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and long-standing relationships
  • Passion to carry out first class work
  • Team player who is well organised and reliable
  • Ability to cope under pressure and relishes a challenge
  • Good organisational and prioritising ability
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Outstanding attention to detail
